The Board of Directors of NSD wishes to acknowledge the service and celebrate the life of Dr. Hunter Ingalls, poet, artist, humorist, master gardener, chef and sage. 

     On May 27, 2008, our beloved Hunter, husband of Mary Emeny, best friend to us all, made his transition to a higher plain of existence. Words cannot express how his tireless service assisted the development of NSD and Mariposa EcoVillage. He most often fed us, inspired us, gently guided us, played with us, and loved us. He was the perfect example of community and the perfect role-model for all of us as we work together toward a sustainable future. "Hunter, you will be with us forever!"--The NSD Board of Directors
